Work Experience
- I worked on various projects for Georgetown University’s MOOCs on edX. This included helping build courses, writing a case study, and doing quality assurance. I also wrote a blog post for the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship.
- I taught research for students in the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) strand. I also coached students who competed in different research competitions.
- I taught science for Grades 7 and 8, as well as computer programming for Grade 8. I was the moderator for the Science Club. I was also a coach for the World Scholar’s Cup and various science-related competitions. I was also a teacher for PACES, a program designed to help students with academic difficulties.
- I taught classes in introductory engineering drafting, degradation of materials, engineering economics and mechanical properties of materials. I also handled the internship program for fourth year materials engineering students. Aside from this, I helped in a science camp for incoming university students.

Skills
Science Skills
I have designed and performed experiments. I have also created modules to guide students through the process of science.
Designing Skills
I have designed modules and lessons for a wide range of students, including middles school, high school and university students.
Communication Skills
I am fluent in two languages, English and Tagalog. I am currently learning French.
Visual Presentations
I have used Canva, Illustrator, and InDesign to create visually engaging presentations. I actually taught myself how to use these programs.
Statistical Tools
I have used Excel, SPSS and R to analyze, interpret and communicate a range of data.
HTML and CSS
I can read and understand simple codes in HTML and CSS. I have used this knowledge to troubleshoot an HTML code in a MOOC.
Video Editing
I taught myself to use Adobe Premiere Pro CC. I'm currently trying to learn other video editing programs.
Photography
Photography is my hobby. I'm currently working on improving my storytelling skills through photography.
